School Excursions at The Seed

The Seed CW loves working with schools! Bring your group in for an exciting art session tailored to your curriculum and create individual artworks or a group project/mural. We have many options for you to choose if we work with a specific year, 1 class, or the entire school. To extend the creative experience, we are happy to work with your P&C to frame the student artwork to be used as an art exhibit raising funds for your school.

How it works

  • The Seed can run the workshop from our location at 2/44 Gordon Street, Port Macquarie or travel to the school between school hours.

  • We provide all supplies, set-up, clean-up and professional step-by-step instructions.

  • Cost per child varies depending on project, no more than $20/student, $25 with frame.

  • When work is dried and ready to present, The Seed team can frame and label the artwork, then deliver to your school. P&C or a designated teacher or group can then set up for a fund-raising art exhibit.

  • Parents are invited to view the artworks and purchase the framed piece, raising money for the school.

The projects available that align with the Visual Arts standards include (but are not limited to):

Our Vision

To provide a unique and creative art experience for schools that positively impact the children, families and communities we serve.

Our Mission

The Seed CW is committed to uplifting the children, families, and communities we serve through promotion and support of the Visual Arts. Our passion centers on putting the students and families first; creating a sustainable, positive, family environment for our team and customers.

Our Values

In order to achieve our Vision, we must have a passionate and dedicated commitment to our values as outlined below.

Customer First

Children, families, and educational communities are in our hearts with every decision we make. We strive to make creating simple and convenient.

Hard Work

We believe in hard work and teamwork while having fun. Without these, we will miss the mark.

Integrity

Honesty, reliability, and respect serve as the guide for our team. When we make a mistake, we accept and correct it.

Quality

Our success is dependent on quality experiences. So, we focus on creative innovation to improve our processes, our people, and your Art Experience.

The study of the creative arts enables young people to engage with and enjoy exploring expressive forms, ideas, and values. The creative arts provides opportunities to enchant, explore, investigate and respond to the world through making and performing.

The Seed CW is excited to work with your school and students to understand your needs. We are confident we can design a program and product that meets your learning requirements and your budget.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

We look forward to collaborating with your school and your students.
